Good luck, GJ
Gee, Joe! Conveniently edited your post AFTER I questioned you! Three times in as many weeks, you have blatantly posted misinformation. I would suggest you either not post or learn the rules a bit better....
Joe,
Would you kindly show me where any of the handbooks say there is a penalty for overloading the long gun? That rule was removed years ago and if it is still in there, we need to fix it.
I'm not quite sure I understand what you're asking but, there is no penalty for overloading the gun. Only if you leave live ammo in it or use that extra ammo.
Saw those but having seen some non ported ones, saying it isn't legal because of the porting could lead someone to believe a non ported one could be legal.
Actually, The Cuts comp has been illegal for as long as there have been rules, I believe. Due to the fact that its an external choke. Am I correct in thinking that, Happy Jack?
When the buff disintegrates, and it will, it gets the guide rod and spring twisted around and will try to push it out the side of the frame.
When will the Shockbuff fail? 100 rounds? 1000?
I have one frame here still that is cracked and was able to repair several.
I can't tell that Shockbuffs really help with recoil.
Jackaroo, if the gun has a live round chamber, it didn’t get there by brushing the hammer against something. If the shooter points the gun down range and it goes click, no call. But if it goes boom, MDQ. I believe that is what Norfleet meant.
Shooter certainly did not deserve the penalty for not using the magazine. In my opinion, it’s like wearing a shotgun belt at your nipples instead of your navel. As long as you’re not wearing it there while shooting, doesn’t matter. Shooter did not use the mag, it’s a no call.
For me, the loading strip works better. With a lot of stages being 35-42 rounds, I want my belt pouches full. A block big enough to hold 6 shotgun shells would be quite bulky. However, what ever works for you.....
This is for traditional category, I presume? I make my own front sights but it’s very close to the Cylinder & Slide part in Brownell’s 206-000-044. It will likely be tall and you’ll have to file to fit. I also prefer the Harrison Design rear.
2 pairs of canvas leggings. US issue with the lacing replaced. Excellent condition. The problem? These are SMALL!! A size 2, I believe.
$30.00 shipped a pair, $50.00 for both. Thanks for looking!
Allie, actually the rules are quite simple. They give the shooter much more freedom than restriction. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!
