I guess my next question would be what part of WBAS would you like to see like a sport that failed? My point being there are reasons it went under and WBAS is still here and growing, albeit not as fast as I'd like. I firmly believe it has a lot more to do with the economy and life style of the populace than the rules.

Not wanting to hijack Last Chance's post anymore than necessary, I wanted to hear more about your comments. I want to say I appreciate your enthusiasm for WBAS. Are you seeing clubs not following WBAS rules pertaining to equipment and costuming? Have you seen the costuming rules change dramatically over the last several years? Other than freeing up the firearms covenants some to allow better participation, how has the rules changed? Please don't take any of these comments as assaults, I just want to point out a few things and have an adult conversation. You mention allowing "modern"1911s "gamed" it too much. Well, it is a game. It is a competition, and like I told a friend a few weeks ago when she asked when did CAS get so competitive? My response was when they started using a timer. This is Wild Bunch Action Shooting. Its not a movie reenactment. It can't be. There would maybe be 8 stages to be shot over and over and over again. Kind of sounds like Steel Challenge and boring after a while. Allowing more modern 1911s allows a lot more shooters in who otherwise couldn't compete. Same with the Henry Big Boy lever action. And the Model 12 shotgun. Good running 97s are getting scarce and more expensive by the day. Allowing the Model 12 allowed more shooters. Did any of the rule changes, in any way, preclude you from shooting or costuming by restricting the way you had done it in the past? I look forward to hearing your answers.

Lost, the problem over there is that too many of the active participants hate WBAS and would be a nuisance. Some of them there, even moderators, treat WB worse than the main stream media treats Trump.

Chance, I believe what we're going to have to do is to put together a plan for the website, gather all the pertinent info and material, take it to the headquarters and basically stage a sit in until it gets done.

I like the parallel or hybrid just because I don’t flip live rounds as bad. I can’t say that one is better than the other for spreading. I’ve had all styles spread and have some of each that are any number of years old.

These mags are made by Check Mate. Who also makes magazines for Colt to their specs. They are good magazines.

In their infinite wisdom, Ca DOJ has a roster of approved guns that are allowed to sold new in the state. To get on that list, you must send a sample of every model you want tested to be approved. Each model costs better than $3000 to test. And by each model, I mean if you change the sights, it’s a different model. You change the finish, a different model. Compact or full size, different models. Most companies don’t want to/can’t spend the money to get that many guns approved..

Joe, I took screen shots of these posts and the one where you said it was perfectly legal to use a factory installed Cutts Compensator. Again, you've conveniently edited it here, after the fact, to not make it look like that's what you meant. But you didn't edit your post on the SASS wire.

Joe, Would you kindly show me where any of the handbooks say there is a penalty for overloading the long gun? That rule was removed years ago and if it is still in there, we need to fix it.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you're asking but, there is no penalty for overloading the gun. Only if you leave live ammo in it or use that extra ammo.

I believe there are some Auto Ordnance versions that are California legal. Or Springfield Armory.

Saw those but having seen some non ported ones, saying it isn't legal because of the porting could lead someone to believe a non ported one could be legal.

Actually, The Cuts comp has been illegal for as long as there have been rules, I believe. Due to the fact that its an external choke. Am I correct in thinking that, Happy Jack?

When the buff disintegrates, and it will, it gets the guide rod and spring twisted around and will try to push it out the side of the frame. When will the Shockbuff fail? 100 rounds? 1000? I have one frame here still that is cracked and was able to repair several. I can't tell that Shockbuffs really help with recoil.

Throw the ShokBuff away! I have seen too many frames crack because of them.
