  1. Screw in choke, Limbsaver pad, big bead. Barrel cut to 18 1/4”. D series made in 1905. Has been parkerized. It does hold 6. Has Wild Bodie Tom spring and follower. $750 shipped to your FFL.
  2. Yes. SASS in their infinite lack of wisdom on the subject allowed a few whiners that don’t and won’t shoot Wild Bunch to bastardize the rules and see a turn out of about 2/3 what EOT has been. Wild Bunch has sold out Winter Range and EOT for the last dozen or so years until this year. While cowboy has dwindled and continues to do so.
  3. Actually, it is Artemus. Lots of testing has been done in the past on .38/.357 rifles to make power factor. The toggle link rifles don’t hold up to the pressure. Reach out to Evil Roy. He spent a lot of time and money on it.
  4. Stainless or blued standard thickness or thin grips. All available in slotted head some in hex. $15 a set shipped
  5. The pins, plungers and springs that are easily lost or damaged. Available in blue and stainless. $20 each shipped
  6. I would try to reach around 725-730 FPS just to be safe at all altitudes.
  7. Also, now that the rules have been bastardized, doubles, 1887s and single shots are legal.
  8. Made by Slickbald Customs $75 shipped
  9. Thank you, sir! I’ll pass along the congratulations!
  10. Holy Terror used a .38 I know, the others I’m not sure about but the rifle didn’t make a difference.
  11. I do know the top Traditional shooter, male or female, Lady Jane, won Lady Traditional using a .45 Colt rifle and did not feel the least hindered by it. Went head to head with Holy Terror in the Top Gun shoot off and came close behind her using one hand.
  12. And the Colt serrations are a very odd spacing. Like 19 1/2 lines to an inch. Not 20 or 25 or 30. I have cut the front strap out, welded in a new one and checkered that.
  13. My guess it’s not the crimp die but the sizing die. Dillon sizing dies are very generous in the radius to enter the die. The Lee die sizes the base that the Dillon sizing die doesn’t.
  14. Slim, the meaningful numbers will be the fact that for the last several years Wild Bunch had a cap on number of participants with a waiting list and this year it likely won’t sell out. Like cowboy attendance dropped about 200 in 2023 compared to 2022.
  15. Just look at the score sheet at the end. It shows the shooter numbers.
  16. There will be a lot more cancel because it’s not the sport they want to shoot than there will be people who sign up to shoot because of the new rules. They’ve already been making excuses for not shooting.
  17. There is also a Model 12 Featherweight that is a takedown of a different type than the typical Model 12. It only holds 4 in the magazine. If I remember correctly, it was only made a few years around 1960.
  18. Not everyone as there are some holsters out there that do cover it.
  19. Don’t quit! Just come shoot with the redress of us.
  20. I can also assure you that those volunteers don’t care one whit about those “titles”. They bust their butts for the betterment of the sport.
  21. JJ, for years we heard “if you do _______, I’ll shoot Wild Bunch.” 7 rounds in the mag, tactical reloads, base pads, total time(which was forced on us) and you know what? As soon as those rules all went into effect, those same people had another excuse for not shooting… Like I mentioned in my previous post that was pulled from above, those same people are already making excuses as to why they still won’t shoot Wild Bunch…
  22. Their table top gunsmith version. Rated to 4100 fps. Retails for nearly $2400. $750 plus shipping. I can pallet and take to Fastenal for easy shipping.
  23. 100 year Justin Boot commemorative rifle $750 Remington 1890 by Uberti $400
  24. Depends on the rear sight but .190 tall is just about right for most. The Ruger I have in front of me is 186 tall. The Cylinder and Slide Strong Site Supported sight I install with the Harrison Design Retro rear sight usually ends up about .190-.195 tall depending on the shooter.
