  1. The problem with having them at the same time is the Main Match is usually put on Thursday and Friday and the cowboy side match is Saturday and Sunday. When I held the WB state match as a stand alone event, we grew over 25% a year for five years even during the chicom pandemic. When the main match is held during the week, it’s hard for people who work to make it.
  2. I’ve been on both so long I don’t remember how they do it. But it obviously wasn’t the same, as Dutch D. Moderator said it was, originally. I do know there seems to be a lot less scammer activity here than on the SASS wire.
  3. Well, they surely did not do what the shooters wanted with the rifle and shotgun rules, did they? And it sure didn’t help attendance… But if you want to keep believing that warm wet stuff running down your back is rain, be my guest!
  4. And while you can take it up with the TGs, they have absolutely no say in the final decision regarding any rule.
  5. First rig: J.M. Ross belt, holster, mag pouches and ammo slide. Belt measures 46” to center hole sold Second rig: second rig unmarked also 46” to center.sold

  6. New in box unfired. Color cased. Besides Colt, the only US made GI pattern gun $1050 shipped
  7. Starting in 2019, we had three years of double digit growth at our State WB matches, then all the rule change rumblings started and we've been down shooters ever since. I know this is localized data, but it is consistent in the adjacent state matches I've shot. Winter Range/EOT sold out every year even with an ever increasing cap until last year. For the past two years, it has not filled up.
  8. Should he? But that does bring up a good point. Should an owner or manager who influences the rules, therefore the outcome, be allowed to compete?
  9. I was on the Lucas Oil shooting team and I never worked for them. She is retired.
  10. You would be guessing correctly.
  11. So, Scarlett Darlin’ would be a professional? Misty Moonshine or CC Moonshine? All three make their living of off the shooting sports..
  12. But she’s retired.
  13. Just how do you define a “professional” shooter?
  14. @BradyT88 I meant to tag you in the above post.
  15. I use the 7 rd stainless ones with hybrid lips and GI dimpled follower.
  16. Th Rugers are great guns. I don’t think a Lightweight would be my choice for Wild Bunch.
  17. Well, it is called Wild Bunch ACTION SHOOTING! If I want entertainment, I’ll turn on the movie and watch it. For me the fun is in the challenge. Figuring out how I can shoot a stage to the best of my abilities. What can I do to better myself. I’ve said for years that WBAS isn’t for everyone. Neither is benchrest shooting, NASCAR racing or brain surgery.
  18. Thank you, sir. Got tired of breaking pins and figured there had to be a better way. Best, Boggus
  19. It’s already going there… Hell, there has been a push for a number of years to go back to 5 in the magazine.
  20. Most of the SDQs were moving with a loaded gun on the all knock down stage.
  21. Checkmate makes mags for Ruger, Colt, Ed Brown and many others. They have run the best for me. You have to pay extra to have Tripp weld the base plate on their mags just to make them stay on. You’d think on the most expensive magazine on the market it would work without having to pay extra… Using 7 round mags keeps you from accidentally overloading the mag. Keep your 8 round mags for every day carry, if they’re good mags or use them for other shooting games.
  22. Folks, I just finished a new batch of firing pins. I have plenty available. Along with new hammer springs. If you have ordered any from me recently, they are already on the way or will be Monday. Thanks!
  23. But the targets weren’t 3 feet away… And nobody runs at 150. The shooters run around 165. For the cushion.
