The Kaskaskia Cowboys voted to graciously donate a Ruger 1911 Pistol to the shoot. So, here is how we will give it away. All paid registered shooters will receive one ticket. IF you pay and register by April 1st., you will receive 2 additional tickets. IF you pay and register by March 1st. you will receive 4 additional tickets. Early paid registrations help me considerably with ordering meals, ordering trophies, door prizes, attendance prizes, and printing match programs. All checks for registration will NOT be cashed until after the shoot, thus, if you need to cancel, 100% refund. PLUS, this year we will be having side matches on Friday, April 6th. I agree Marshall Stone. REALLY looking forward to this match. There will be 4 "Boys from Illinois" at WR this year. I sure hope we don't have to beat those "Morales" boys in a side match again. I think the "strain was more than they could bear" at EOT. ;D

This past Thursday, the side match day at the Midwest Regional Gunsmoke, Shell Stuffer and I held a "try Wild Bunch" stage for those that always wanted to, but have never had the opportunity. We had nearly 60 shooters, "try it"! WOW, it was great to see their smiling faces after shooting a stoked '97 of Mod. 12 and usually 2 full 7 round mags of .45 ACP. Over 800 rounds of .45's and over 300 12 ga. shotshells were expended down range. I think it's safe to say we "set the hook" in a couple of folks. Big thanks to the Gunsmoke committee for letting us do this.

Just got my Colt back from Boggus. On a scale of 1 to 10, my new front site replacement is an "11" I can actually see it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
