  6. Update The match is coming together nicely. Roundcount available soon all gators, golf carts, mules etc are welcome. Plenty of room to park trucks with trailers! Something interesting. Not only is Kirkpatrick contributing to our prize table but he is also shooting the match! Quality cast is also attending and donating a bunch of great bullets. We managed to get the food truck from 2020 ,the one with the great food that had won a bunch of awards. Looks like the new purpose built wild Bunch range will be ready to use. Bunch of great side matches! We list them shortly.
  7. I assume worn to keep from snagging britches with briars etc.
  8. This photo is dated 1932 and is a picture of a bootlegger bust around Arlington,Tx. Notice the gent wearing leather leggings. Just thought it interesting
  9. TFJ, you get points in my book for being tough enough to wear the steel helmet. I bought one and it’s ability to transfer heat and cold was amazing! The summer try resulted in broiler on my head with that steel helmet being hot enough it was very uncomfortable to touch. Cold was equivalent to a bag of ice on my head!
  10. Best thing going is to use the best mags you can afford. Reliability increases dramatically with great mags. A lot of of use Tripp magazines. They are either to high or to cheap depending on your point of view. If you have small sights like original series 70 a blockier sight is nice. Trigger job if you have a crummy crunchy trigger. are you actually having any problems right now? If not step out and start shooting! Do you shoot modern or traditional?
  11. This is going to be a great match! The Texas Doughboys are looking forward to it!
  12. Nope,I talked to him earlier and he’s hot to trot so I imagine his and the boys will get in soon.
  13. From the deep well of goofiness, where comedy is king! 🤠

Even if you’ve been out with Smokey mike drinking from a Tincup filled with Dr. Pepper and got a Snootfull until you’re C.n.double or you have a festering sore,Stomper a bandaid on it and come on out. You don’t have to be faster than greased Lightnin Or slow Azz Molases to enjoy this great match so stuff shells in your pocket, pull a Hattrick if needed mount your Red Bronco ride in to the hilly country of Bowie Texas shooting out on the back 40 Wearing Your favorite tweed where you won’t be miss Treated but as dry as it’s been you might get a dusty Boddams!
  15. Check out the article about EOT WB written by Back 40. Very well written! Great pictures! Congratulations !
  16. I had forgotten about this article from 2014. A few rules date it but the article aged very well.
  17. That’s really good for the first rattle out of the box. Using a loaner rifle was a powerful tool for us to spread BAMM etc. pretty much could give a shooter 10 rounds on 2 stripper clips and they were hooked! We did that to Grouchy Spike and when he got back to south Texas bought a rifle and did the same thing. I bet he hooked 40-50 shooters by himself!
  18. Tully Congratulations for offering these side matches. TR/DB/BAMM have proven to be winners everywhere it’s been offered. What do you think the percentage was that tried it?
  19. Me neither but that’s what the caption read.
  20. Caption says “ American soldiers with captured gun from cacao rebels Haiti 1915” I knew it was a Gatling but the size of it looked gigantic . I knew somebody here would know what it was. Cool deal!
