From Hondo: Howdy all, Happy Labor Day! Here's a little more information on the warm-ups and some of the side matches. Teddy Roosevelt, Doughboy and Wild Bunch Warm-Ups These three will be shot together, consisting of 4 stages. Teddy Roosevelt and Doughboy will be shot for score and plaque. If you have signed up and paid for warm-ups, sign in at the office and mark which "one" of the three that you would like to shoot. Anyone interested may still sign up. Just sign up in the office, pay the $10 fee and mark your selection. I am attaching information on the long range side matches, pocket pistol, Teddy Roosevelt and Doughboy. Trying to stay away from modern carbines to remain true to the early weapons that set the stage for modern guns. Right now the window ends like the BAMM rifle (issued by a government B4 end of WW2. As for Bootlegger, we have the Thompson and M31 Suomi. With that being said, we want folks to show up and play. Use your imagination and help us build a program agreeable to the WB masses. Dusty has a shooter running a SKS that is showing promise for an alternate to the M1 carbine. Basic match concept: For Audi Murphy, double the TR/DB round count and the shooter just shoots the DB/TR rifle scenario twice. Same for Bootlegger, take the WB (pistol caliber rifle) and double the round count and shoot the WB rifle scenariox2. This doesn’t add any work to the Match director and helps the spotters due to same shooting pattern. We are still working on hammering out the details and right now the focus is Audi Murphy. There may be another option or two for Audi Murphy and Bootlegger. Always looking for suggestions. hope this helps. Feel free to give me a ring.

I installed flags on two guns. Had problems feeding. I replaced the springs (from Bogus) for the flags and it solved the problem.

Fun gun. My model 14, is the 30 Rem. Brass is hard to come by. Ended up buying 32 Rem brass and resizing. Just depends on what you want to shoot. Regardless, you will have great gun that u will want to shoot, no matter what the category!

OK has been doing 5 rounds in the TR stages for that very reason. It also keeps the DB and TR aligned in the scenarios. When there is a DB reload for 10 rounds, we usually make the TR folks load 2 on the clock to keep the timing close.

They are legal. However, as already pointed out, they add another failure point.
