  1. JFN, Glad it helped! Those are nice buckles. Tully
  2. JFN, I've had success using Photobucket. Once the picture is in my library or album I click on that picture. On the right hand side of the photobucket page is a spot that states share this photo, I then click the "IMG" tab, then using the "Insert Image" on the WB posting header. I insert the photobucket "IMG" [imghttp://http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb114/tullys_photos/20150719_203046.jpg][/img] I'll send you an email. Not sure I understand what I'm saying here :) Tully
  3. Allie, I use clothes pins. Mostly blue, I do have red and pink. They have saved me many times. Tully
  4. My gun worked great during the California State match. This definitely was the issue with my M12! Tully
  5. Your welcome August. Hope it helps someone. My M12 is running great now that it's been taken care of. You still have time to make our State match :) Tully
  6. Today it was the first round in the magazine, no problems before or after that one round. It's an issue of some sorts, but it happened none the less. Stuck firing pin, high primer no idea? The shooter was not on the trigger today, it went off on it's own. After my full auto incident, I gave the gun to Tom and worked his magic. I don't recall his answer to the cause or if I even asked. This just reinforces safe gun handling, in both cases the guns were pointed down range at the targets. Tully
  7. Yep! At WR last year or the year before my 1911 went full auto! Surprised me just a tad bit :) Again I was very fortunate it was pointed in the right direction. Tully
  8. Today at GCWB I was the TO on the last stage of the day, a traditional shooter shot a magazine then seated a new one, he dropped the slide and BAM! I have not seen this before, but I did today. Luckily the gun was pointed in a safe direction, it rattled the shooter and others around us. So it apparently can happen. Tully
  9. Hopefully that will take care of your problems. Good luck!
  10. Jorge, It maybe time to actually contact a gunsmith? Might get things done quicker for you. Tully
  11. Boggus, Email me on the carrier and let me know what your asking for it. I would like a flagged one in my back up. lockettbryan@yahoo.com Thanks, Tully
  12. What brand of shells are you using? The guns can be brand sensitive. Is the carrier un-flagged or flagged? My un-flagged needs AA's or STS's to run, Federals will go to the right and imped chambering. My flagged M12 feeds anything.
  13. Can't say for sure on the bolt, but the hook of the cut off should block the next shell from exiting the magazine tube when the slide starts to move to the rear position. Hopefully your gun just was in need of a good cleaning. Tully
  14. Me too Joe, that's why I was asking. Tully
  15. Damn work! It's either that or money! See you next year! Tully
  16. BD, Thanks Boggus, but it's working now. The original fit was very poor. The hook actually hit the hammer stand off each time it moved forward creating more wear. It will get me through the CA state and beyond. Considering all the gun related issues I've been having this is one less thing to worry about. Thanks and good luck in Utah! Wish I could join you! Tully
  17. BD, I'm sure your correct! It's kinda hard to change habits though. Tully
  18. Howdy All! At WR this year I was having issues with my M12. I wasn't sure if it was me or the gun. The problem was I would eject or kick out a live shell with or without a slight strike on the primer. Here's what I determined the problem to be, hopefully this helps someone out. It was the lock up of the action slide lock and the hammer. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when slam firing the only thing holding the hammer in the rearward position is the action slide lock, since the sear and hammer notch are not engaged while slam firing. I pulled out both of my M12's and held the trigger back and slowly worked the slide. My back up M12 the hammer would not fall until the very last moment of the bolt locking up. On my main match gun the hammer would fall with the bolt half way through the cycle allowing the hammer to just follow the bolt down with minimal or no strike on the primer. After pulling both trigger groups out and comparing them it was obvious that my main match gun's lock up was not good. Anyway after some welding and filling on the hammer my main match gun seems to be running as good as ever, hopefully it will continue. 19. Is it double feeding? If so check the cartridge cutoff. Make sure it's in position to stop the next shell from entering the receiver. Tully
  20. JFN, Thanks for the information. Not what I would have expected. Tully
  21. Joe Lafives, Thanks to you and the Rough Riders for a great match! Tully
  22. Great shooting Bogus! Congratulations! Tully
  23. Listen to Boggus. Case gage and inspect each loaded round. It doesn't have to be new just in good shape. Tully
