WB Legal 1911 Grip Safety for GI Style Hammer Spur?
Eyesa replied to July Smith's topic in Wild Bunch Rules Forum
The things I get to look forward to as a newbie WB shooter. ๐ค -
Check eBay as well, I got a real nice one for $40 shipped. Wylie leather I think it was. He takes offers and quality seems real good.

Thanks Doc, I see it now! The old eyes musta zipped right over it!

Looking over the new rule book, the only mention I found on the mag release was about thinning years he grip to facilitate easier reach. Didn't see anything on the release itself, leading me think an extended one would indeed be illegal. ๐คจ

Thank you Bear. We got Ellie home last night. All good , the surgery went great and she is now all back together! Ellie's feeling great and so happy to be back to normal. Just a bit of healing for a couple weeks! Thank you so much for your and Jenarado's thoughts and prayers.๐ค -

Great thread mate, thanks, it's been helpful to me as well. I'm going to try Wild Bunch myself this year! -

Click on the 3 dots on the top right and report your thread to the moderator and ask them to change your name. At least that's the easiest way I'm aware of.

I was using 4.2gr. of Clays in the C45S and dropped to 4gr. of the Cleanshot with no time for testing before my last match. They were notably lighter with almost zero muzzle flip. Next batch I hope to have time to Chrono and up the charge a tad. Hate temp issues! Thanks GJ.

Only thing I noticed with Cleanshot in my 45C, is that it leaves a yellow/gold fouling in the barrel at CAS velocity anyway. I also use C45S cases in my pistols and can see the yellow stuff come out the barrels! Otherwise it has been 100% consistent in these light loads. 5gr. in my 45C w/200gr. pill & 4gr. in the C45S w/160gr. Pill.Haven't checked velocity yet

That's a pretty 22, good luck with your sale.

I haven't had the chance to try it yet in 45acp, but have heard decent feedback on "Shooter's World Cleanshot" obtainable from Scarlett @ Scarlett's bullets. Comes with a hug too and she and her husband are great supporters of CAS.

Looking at your profile, it shows em back to 2022.

Looks like it, assuming you're referencing your post.๐

I don't have much experience with a 97 due to my bum right shoulder. I can't hold the weight up to load over the top and can't really reach that high to load right handed. That said, being that all the shells are loaded at the loading table for WB, I think I'll be fine with it for WB. Have to start practicing with it to verify reliability. I also have the option of using Ellie's CB model. Thanks for the opinions guys. Most appreciated. EH

GJ, Much Obliged for such a great tutorial. Every bit of your advice makes perfect sense. And the best part, I get to keep the dollars for something else. Thank you EH

First question ๐, why is the Model 12 better for WB than a '97? I know pretty much zero about 12s! I found one on consignment today at my LGS for $750 that had a nice shiny bore and good furniture. It had a rust pitted mark about half inch diameter a bit forward of the chamber and a like size one on the receiver that had been cleaned up and reblued. My mind and wallet wanted to pay a max of $550. He came down to $600 and I held at my price. Should I grab it at $600 or wait and try again in a week or so if it's still there. From another thread, it appears to be a good idea to replace the firing pin, is there anything else I should know at this point. For the record, I have never shot WB and the SG is the last gun I need and some mag pouches. I do have a backup Norinco '97 that will hold 6, but haven't shot tested it yet. Thanks in advance, Eyesa

That's exactly right, odd! If I switch back to default, all the text is there. Haven't had that issue in dark mode before. Good luck with your sale Buck
