Gun Problem - Extractor Problem - Reloading Problem - Or ???
Eyesa replied to JJ's topic in Reloading for Wild Bunch
Wow, being new to 1911s, I'm impressed with how technical these "fitting" adjustments are! As always, thanks GJ for sharing your vast knowledge. -

You can also click on the menu, then browse, then staff to message a moderator.

You can call the ladies at SASS or try reporting your post here and ask the Moderator. Just click the three dots on the top right. The moderators have been very accommodating on the CAS sight, so likely here as well.

When and Where do you WB ?==== Informal survey =========
Eyesa replied to CC Moonshine's topic in The Wild Bunch Wire
This summer we started allowing folks to shoot our CAS match WB, allowing 5 in the mag for the 1911 and stoking the 97 for the usual 2-4 SG. Only a few do it, but seems to be well received so far. -

WB Legal 1911 Grip Safety for GI Style Hammer Spur?
Eyesa replied to July Smith's topic in Wild Bunch Rules Forum
The things I get to look forward to as a newbie WB shooter. 🤠-
Check eBay as well, I got a real nice one for $40 shipped. Wylie leather I think it was. He takes offers and quality seems real good.

Thanks Doc, I see it now! The old eyes musta zipped right over it!

Looking over the new rule book, the only mention I found on the mag release was about thinning years he grip to facilitate easier reach. Didn't see anything on the release itself, leading me think an extended one would indeed be illegal. 🤨

Another good post mate! Thanks to you and GJ

Thank you Bear. We got Ellie home last night. All good , the surgery went great and she is now all back together! Ellie's feeling great and so happy to be back to normal. Just a bit of healing for a couple weeks! Thank you so much for your and Jenarado's thoughts and prayers.🤠-

Great thread mate, thanks, it's been helpful to me as well. I'm going to try Wild Bunch myself this year! -

Click on the 3 dots on the top right and report your thread to the moderator and ask them to change your name. At least that's the easiest way I'm aware of.

I was using 4.2gr. of Clays in the C45S and dropped to 4gr. of the Cleanshot with no time for testing before my last match. They were notably lighter with almost zero muzzle flip. Next batch I hope to have time to Chrono and up the charge a tad. Hate temp issues! Thanks GJ.

Only thing I noticed with Cleanshot in my 45C, is that it leaves a yellow/gold fouling in the barrel at CAS velocity anyway. I also use C45S cases in my pistols and can see the yellow stuff come out the barrels! Otherwise it has been 100% consistent in these light loads. 5gr. in my 45C w/200gr. pill & 4gr. in the C45S w/160gr. Pill.Haven't checked velocity yet
