Would a Winchester 25 be approved?

The Winchester 25 is simply the Model 12 without the take down feature. Do you think this would be allowed or would the Rules Committee need to adopt this?

That is correct. The 25 was introduced as a lower cost model 12, by being not takedown.

Everything else is the same.

Contact you TG to have it put on the next agenda or brought to the ROC for clarification

Adding the model 25 is not in the per view of the ROC, as it would not be a clarification.

That would be a rule change, and it would require a TG vote or a mandate from SASS.

The Winchester 25 was introduced in 1949, Where would the line be drawn?  The start of the Korean Conflict perhaps?  That way Remington 870's would ok, they were introduced in 1950.

All sarcasm aside, SASS shooter both WB and CAS spend a lot of time, effort and money to have gear that meets the games criteria.  The Model 12 was shown being used in the movie WBAS is based on.

And Pike was, mainly, wearing a buscadero rig with a double action revolver instead of the 1911
