Jorge Posted Sunday at 11:41 PM Posted Sunday at 11:41 PM Why are there Wild Bunch related postings on the regular SASS Cowboy Wire, when they may be better served here, on the Wild Bunch Wire? Is this area too difficult to get to? Should the two wires just be combined in some way, so one would not have to navigate to two different forums (requiring two different log-on systems)? Just curious. Quote
Muggins Posted yesterday at 01:05 PM Posted yesterday at 01:05 PM This forum doesn't have nearly the same amount of traffic/volume that the SASS wire maintains. 13 hours since your question and less than 30 views. If it's a general question about reloading or a popular firearm, including a 1911, there will be more feedback at the SASS wire than here. There are plenty of knowledgeable individuals over that may or may not be shooting Wild Bunch. Moving Wild Bunch under a sub-thread at the SASS wire would seem to make navigation and account login easier - and also potential invite more views from those not started in Wild Bunch... but if you're trying to argue your relevancy and existence, that last thing you'd want to do is be a step child at another forum. 4 Quote
Eyesa Posted yesterday at 01:53 PM Posted yesterday at 01:53 PM The WB forum seems to stay on topic better than the CAS forum as well. When I joined, you really had to do homework to get the answers to the security questions. Bettin that keeps some folks away! I knew some of the answers because that was in the day of getting an actual Chronicle every month. Miss those days! Quote
Old Man Graybeard Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I like having the separate forums. I wish people would use the Wild Bunch forum more. I think there are people willing to help out on both forums...but it is nice to have more specific places to go to for certain information 3 Quote
