  1. That's a pretty 22, good luck with your sale.
  2. I haven't had the chance to try it yet in 45acp, but have heard decent feedback on "Shooter's World Cleanshot" obtainable from Scarlett @ Scarlett's bullets. Comes with a hug too and she and her husband are great supporters of CAS.
  3. Looking at your profile, it shows em back to 2022.
  4. Looks like it, assuming you're referencing your post.😎
  5. I don't have much experience with a 97 due to my bum right shoulder. I can't hold the weight up to load over the top and can't really reach that high to load right handed. That said, being that all the shells are loaded at the loading table for WB, I think I'll be fine with it for WB. Have to start practicing with it to verify reliability. I also have the option of using Ellie's CB model. Thanks for the opinions guys. Most appreciated. EH
  6. GJ, Much Obliged for such a great tutorial. Every bit of your advice makes perfect sense. And the best part, I get to keep the dollars for something else. Thank you EH
  7. First question 😁, why is the Model 12 better for WB than a '97? I know pretty much zero about 12s! I found one on consignment today at my LGS for $750 that had a nice shiny bore and good furniture. It had a rust pitted mark about half inch diameter a bit forward of the chamber and a like size one on the receiver that had been cleaned up and reblued. My mind and wallet wanted to pay a max of $550. He came down to $600 and I held at my price. Should I grab it at $600 or wait and try again in a week or so if it's still there. From another thread, it appears to be a good idea to replace the firing pin, is there anything else I should know at this point. For the record, I have never shot WB and the SG is the last gun I need and some mag pouches. I do have a backup Norinco '97 that will hold 6, but haven't shot tested it yet. Thanks in advance, Eyesa
  8. That's exactly right, odd! If I switch back to default, all the text is there. Haven't had that issue in dark mode before. Good luck with your sale Buck
  9. Size, price??
  10. Sounds good, thank you!
  11. Jack, If you will separate, I'd be interested in the 9mm conversion with tool head at $100. Could do PayPal FF or personal check if you will. Let me know please. Eyesa PS. I'm Eyesa Horg over on the SASS forum
  12. Check with "Outlaw Gambler" https://classicoldwestarms.com/iac-97-pump/
  13. Thank you to everyone for the info & advice. I'm looking forward to giving tthis a try. Thanks Again, Eyesa
  14. Joe---I knew about 250's in the rifle and why I got them, just haven't used them yet! I kinda figured the reason not in ACP was the amount they need to be seated. My question mostly of curiosity and I thank you so much for the input. As soon as my parts from Dillon get here I can start working up a load.
  15. That's what I thought at first, but saw some threads saying that they went from 200 to 230 to reduce recoil. Seemed odd to me, but more than one said it! Also, is there a way to post without filling out all the questions at the bottom everytime??
  16. Just managed to join the forum last night. Took a bit since WR moved and just guessed at SASS #4 ! Wow I feel like earned joining! Anyhow, I've been reading this load section and see most are using 230gr. RN bullets or 200gr. RNFP. I'm curious as to why no one seems to use 250gr. RNFP at a lower velocity? I was figuring that way I might reduce blow-by in the Marlin and reach PF easier in the pistol. Is it due to case capacity, as the 250 is about an 1/8 longer? I have lots of 200gr. RNFP that I use in CAS, but bought some 250's to try and haven't yet.
