Doc12379
Looking for starting loads with solo 1000 for 45 acp with 230gr and 185gr bullets. Also need starting load for 45 Colt with 200 gr bullets. Thanks, Doc
Boggus Deal
Doc, In 45 Auto with 170 grain bullet, Accurate shows 5.3 as a starting weight. Be careful if you're using this in WB. It may get close to the 1000 fps maximum. 200 grain starting load is 4.8. With the 230 grain bullet, their starting load is 4.6 grains. In 45 Colt, they don't list starting loads but their max load is 6.7 grains.

Garrison Joe
170 grain bullet - Wasn't legal in the 2017 or earlier versions of the rules, either. So, doesn't matter if you haven't read 2018 version. 180 grain is the minimum, and a 185 nominal slug is the lightest any reasonable person would want to load, (in case you get a batch that are running lighter than nominal weight, you will still pass the bullet weigh-in if you are selected for a Power Factor check). Good luck, GJ
