Deacon KC Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I have handled this gun in .45 ACP at my shop and it is so nice. It will be in Modern category. https://www.handgunsmag.com/editorial/ruger-sr1911-lightweight-pistol-review/517369?utm_source=WhatCounts-Email&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=AMO12-Months-engagement&utm_content=AMO Tuesday#replay 2 Quote
CC Moonshine Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Santa got one for Misty for Christmas, She loves it! It was pretty great right out of the box, a little slick up here and there and it was perfect. We do a lot of 1911 tune ups in our gun shop and it took me about a 1/3 of the time to work this one over since it was so good from the box. Quote
Renegade Roper Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Next on my list to get! Shoulda bought that instead of the Springfield but at the time I could only get the Springfield. Quote
Boggus Deal Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Th Rugers are great guns. I don’t think a Lightweight would be my choice for Wild Bunch. 2 Quote
Whitey James Posted April 25 Posted April 25 My first 1911 was a Ruger back when they first came out. I traded it off like an idiot. 1 Quote
El Chapo Posted April 29 Posted April 29 (edited) That seems like a very nice gun for $800. I have been shooting my STI Spartan 9mm for the last 14 years and eventually it's going to need a friend in the safe. I'm pretty sure it cost me something like $650 then, which is $943 in today's money. To be able to get an American made gun for $800 is a steal. Edited April 29 by El Chapo 1 Quote
EzraGomez Posted yesterday at 05:49 AM Posted yesterday at 05:49 AM You are right, a pretty good deal for $800. 1 Quote
