Folks, I just finished a new batch of firing pins. I have plenty available. Along with new hammer springs.

If you have ordered any from me recently, they are already on the way or will be Monday.

Thanks!

I put Boggus’ firing pins in. Both my M12’s.  Also followed the instructions for removing the non essential parts. Both guns run perfectly. I did not put the new hammer springs in yet only because it appears to be a little more complex job than the FP’s. Boggus, if you have any tricks to ease that installation let me know.

now I have to ask -  do m12s eat their firing pins?

my “new to me” 1912 came with a cracked firing pin

Yep, the factory design of the firing pin was not well thought out, had stress points in them, and were not made of the same quality steel as is available today.  12s are famous for broken FPs.  good luck, GJ
