If you have been loading Clays in other things stay with it for your 45ACP
Been loading 3.6 grs Clays 230 gr bullets for a long time.
Others have won Championships with this load.
I won a World Championship shooting Senior Traditional with it a few years ago.

In over 50 years of loading 45ACP with hundreds of shooting discussions with other reloaders I have never heard of anyone using a Lee FCD for 45ACP.
I've been using the Lee FCD since I started loading 45 ACP for Wild Bunch.
Use the same set up for loading plated bullets for other shooting. I have had zero issues.

I say it's about time that we went to total time.

For those who haven't come to Winter Range and shot the National Championship of Wild Bunch Action Shooting you need to put it on your bucket list.
Black Jack Zac has really figured out how to put on an outstanding WB match.
Cudos also go out to our Match Director, Serenity. This was a first class match.
Thank you Zac, Serenity and all the waddies for making this match what it has become.

I just verified mine are crimped to .470.
My bullets are .452. With the .4515 that .468 or .469 might be the way to go.
I use a Lee factory crimp die as the last stage.
Hope that helps

I received an email from Misty telling me a few weeks ago. I don't know exactly what all their plans are but the structure for WBAS will be identical to CAS as far as us becoming a ROC instead of a controlling committee. Also all state and above matches will be handled by headquarters as well as keeping track of instructor qualifications, etc.
Happy Jack
Was there any reason given for he change?
Hopefully we stay with the current structure with WB ROC and ambassadors and keep the TG structure out of it.
Nothing against TG's cause I are one of them too. We've keep things simple and workable with the current system.

I use 4.2 gr. VV N320 with 230 gr. Desperado Bullets, Federal magnum primers and have never had a problem with making power factor.
Don't remember velocities but make 165-172 PF in my gun.

Are we going to follow the Cowboy side with the hammer fully back rule?
Personally I hope not. Our current rule works just fine. IMO

Is 75 shotgun a typo?
Also, is 100 rifle a typo? :P
Seems like a lot for 10 stages, but maybe that's part of the mystery 8)
See y'all then.
With Zona being match director probably not, He likes to shoot a bunch. LOL

Springfield mil-spec is a great Traditional Wild Bunch pistol.

Am I the only one that thinks this could be done better?
Lots of folks. You just have to convince Happy Jack and the Wild Bunch.
Good luck with that.

When you go to the rules tab on the WB website look at the one dated Jan. 2019

I want to thank all who shot Wild Bunch at Winter Range. I was told that if we can get more registrations, we can get another day and more stages. Please spread the word!
Are we going to be able to shoot Wild Bunch on Wed. during Cowboy Warm-up or are they going to cut into Fire and Ice?
This years match was one of the most stress free WB match matches I've shot. Great job, looking forward to see what you come up with for next year.

Chance;
My comment was directly in reference to your last post.
How many years now have we been promised an update and a specific site for WB and the promotion of same.

Because we are still the "RED HEADED STEP CHILD" of SASS.
Headquarters have been making promises to us for several years that they never fulfill.

If we went BACK to just the handbook and Match Director's guide it would solve a lot of this confusion.
Trying to 'splain the 'splaining is where these issues come from.

What powder bar are you using with Trail Boss?
Have a friend that was having the spill over problem.
Switched from the small to the large bar and problem of spill over went away. YMMV.
