Is a carry type holster OK to use in Wild Bunch?

Is a leather carry type holster OK to use along with a belt that goes thru belt loops?

The holster pictured looks to me like it meets the requirements for wild bunch competition.  Just keep in mind that you also need magazine pouches and reload ammo for shotgun and rifle. Welcome to the fun! 8)

I'm wanting a new holster for my 1911's and just wondering if I could multi-task that holster for Wild Bunch if I wanted in the future. I might want to play WB but don't want to buy all special gear right now.

When I started out all I had was a series 70 1911.  I used a kydex paddle holster, Win 1300 pump and a .22 lever rifle.  Nobody cared, I was shooting with them.  As I had the dollars I added correct guns and equipment.  I'm glad you are joining the fun.

I am still getting there.  Right now club is letting me use semi auto Thompson.  I managed to do some trades for a 45 Marlin.

Holster is from my old Lara Croft costume days.  Covers the ejection port and most of the slide.
