Dusty Wyatt
Have not shot cowboy in a very long time. Still a SASS member and have been lurking in the Saloon for many years. Been thinking of shooting Wild Bunch for a while now. A buddy of mine has a Model 12, 12 gauge shotgun,30 inch barrel, full choke, 2 3/4 inch chamber for sale at a very good price. Will this work for Wild Bunch?
J. Frank Norfleet
If it works, yes. Seen a lot of shotguns that were worn out and real problems. If you like the game you'll probably take 10 inches off the barrel.
Boggus Deal
If it isn't worn out, it will work just fine. Like Norfleet said, it will probably need about 8-10" less barrel....

J. Frank Norfleet
The added advantage to chopping the barrel is you get rid of the choke and it becomes a cylinder bore.
