What are typical target distances and scenarios for Teddy Roosevelt and Dough Boy side matches?

At the Texas Doughboys we generally engage rifle targets at 50 to 80 yards. Eleven inch squares and 2/3 sized IDPA targets are easily engaged off hand. Scenarios can be the same as a regular match stage. Just exchange the pistol caliber lever for a "real" rifle. May keep the shotgun or not. DB can be 5 or 10 rounds, as they are easily and quickly reloaded with stripper clips. The lever guns don't reload as fast, so we just usually shoot 5 rounds in TR. They don't have to be exotic, just have fun...Hoodoo.
