A given load will not chrony the same in all guns.  There can be some considerable variations from gun to gun.

The term "lugged sole" refers to soles with deep treads on them.  Generally if the treads can be seen from the edge of the sole it is considered a "lugged sole".

It is rare to see one used in SASS competition, both CAS and Wild Bunch.  There is a reason that they are not commonly used.

A magazine extension for a model 12 is not going to be a simple thing.  One thing that comes to mind is to have a long magazine made using 2 tubes for a model 12, cutting, welding and such.  Then, changing the magazine tube from the short one to the long one is going to be a pain.  The entire front end has to be disassembled in order to change the tube.  Your mileage may vary!!

Don't see how it could.  Model 1200 has a threaded cap on the magazine tube and the Model 12 does not.  No way to screw the extension on the Model 12.

Being a lefty also, I think my course of action would be to jack the last three out, ground the pistol with the slide locked back with an empty magazine and move on.

The timer has stopped when the 10th round was fired.  The time used to clear the unfired rounds will not be recorded on the timer.  If you shoot them the time will be recorded. (If the pistol had not been the last weapon fired it would be a different story.)

Could be that you have the tube 180 degrees off.

Give us a little more information.

1.  Did the tube rotate before you removed the plug?

2.  Was it in take-down mode when you removed the plug?

3.  Is it back together now or are you trying to rotate the magazine to finish putting it back together?

4.  Anything else?

Probably need to get a Lee Factory Crimp die for the .45acp.  The Schofield crimp die is too long for acp and besided, you need a taper crimp on the acp.

I use Titegroup in .44mag and .45acp with 200gr. lead bullets.  Works fine for me.

Magazine changes gives opportunity for movement and different target presentations. Adds variety to the game!

Also be careful about your bullet weights.  I see that you are using 180gr wich is the absolute minimum.  If the bullets are underweight they will not make it through inspection.  179.9gr would be beow minimum.

Most shooters that I know do not go below 185gr.

Do the finished rounds feed and chamber properly with no problems?  I consider that the acid test.

Don't be concerned about using lead bullets.  Any bullet caster who stays in business will be making good bullets.  Just get some and start shooting.

Don't think Chip Mc. bases can be interchanged.  The plain metal ones are welded in.  The Chip Mc. Shooting Star magazines have plain metal bases, the latest ones have threaded holes where pads can be screwed on with two screws.
