  1. I second Two Dot, also the tip of the his firing pin is more robust and should not break
  2. What is the bullet weight for 45ACP
  3. Boggus makes a great point a smooth trigger press makes the difference in hitting the target. Dry fire practice can not be stressed enough, start slow and in time a smooth press can be compressed to quite quick times. I used to at the end of a practice session ( this requires a paper Target). AT 3 to 5 yards put 3 shots into one hole it will show you what you are doing right or wrong. I still like the front sight . I agree with Happy Jack about time and magazine changes wasting time, make sure to get a good grip with the index finger pointing up the slide towards the bullet, you have a lot of practice pointing use it to get the magazine in the well. Put the flat of the magazine to the flat of the mag well and rotate it. ST
  4. After you get a model 12 contact Boggus Deal for one of his firing pins. ST
  5. Sounds like a great match and an even better time. ST
  6. Hello Norfleet yes that holster obviously is fine but I have seen a lot that don’t cover the trigger guard. ST
  7. We are paid up for EOT so we will shoot there , after that I don’t know.
  8. This is a shame, Boggus is correct you can’t please everyone, if you want to play the game follow the rules don’t whine about them. Fortunately there are clubs that will stick to the original ideas and make it a challenge. I know it is a business decision but I agree with C N Double about the previous volunteers. ST
  9. Congratulations. I like mine and it has heId up well over the years. ST
  10. Yes it is legal and it is what i shoot. ST

  12. Congratulations, sounds like a fun shoot. ST
  13. Where can we find the results? ST
  14. It was probably the best Wild Bunch match I’ve been to, well at least since Tullys match last year, he knows what people want. ST
  15. I agree with Chance. Went to a shoot years ago that did what Norfleet recommends and didn’t like it then and would not like it now. In that shoot Evil Roy won overall and I was moved up from second to first in modern and never felt good about it Silvertip
  16. Great shoot as always, Barb and Zona know how to put on a match. ST
  17. I picked up a slightly used Premier 2, probably going on 15 years ago , I’ve shot it a lot got a NP3 finish on it and love it. One thing I know is when I miss it was me and not the gun. ST
  18. Congratulations to both Shellstuffer and Half A Hand Henry great shooting ST
  19. Tully put on a fantastic match. It was challenging but at the same time doable, very well run I never saw any problems. Great bunch of people. One of the nicest ranges I’ve been to it even has running water at the stages. Red Marie and I will be back. Silvertip
  20. We are counting the days looking forward to it. ST
