Buffalo Belle

We've done it for years at RUCAS in Renton, WA. Most people shoot Cowboy on Saturday and WB on Sunday. We load mags 7/3, 6/4, or 5/5 depending on the scenario. Great practice for tactical reloads. I've never after shooting 10 rounds at a cowboy match had trouble with 14 at a real WB match. I like to also shoot all rifle targets with the 1911 rather than the close up pistol targets. Also good practice. Some folks also shoot what we call Ranger. Two double action revolvers, semi auto pistol caliber carbine or Tommy gun, and a semi auto shotgun. The point is monthly matches are for fun and practice. Gives people a chance to shoot guns they normally don't get to shoot.

I thought it was a great match. Challenging stages are what set WB apart from Cowboy. For the record, I've missed more in 8 stages of Cowboy so far, than I did in 10 stages of WB!

I know who two of those shooters are just by their midsection shots! I wear a buscadero holster for cowboy so I also went with one for WB. I have long arms and no waist so it puts the grip a little lower for me. I carry 6 mags and a small slide with two rifle reloads and two shotshells. If I need more than 8 shotgun I can always stage them.
