TheVigilante
Sorry if this has been answered, I couldn't find it. I was just curious as to the reasoning behind not allowing m3 holsters? I know the rules say no shoulder holsters, but was wondering why as they are used in the movie. Something about 1911s maybe? Thanks Vigilante
DUSTY BODDAMS
Good question. Cool holsters! Strictly safety issues. Sweeping, 180 etc. you can wear it with a dummy pistol, you just can’t use it in competition.
TheVigilante
So, follow-up, why are shoulder holsters allowed in CAS? Or is that for another forum? Thanks again!
DUSTY BODDAMS
Couldn’t tell ya. You could go over to the sass cowboy forum and ask.

Boggus Deal
From page 1 of the WBAS Shooters Handbook: “It is the intention and hope of SASS these requirements will serve to preserve and protect Wild BunchTM Action Shooting from the gimmickry and technical gamesmanship that have had such a negative effect on other shooting disciplines.“
