Looks like great weather for our first match of the new year.

Introducing a new class for our local club. Dough Boy! Replacing the lever action with the bamm rifle and placing targets at 50 yards and out. Of course we still have our traditional and modern class as well. So come on out and shoot the very first Dough boy match ever , right here in Cleburne,Texas.

This sounds like a more realistic game to play with 1911s and the Model 97/12 - use of a military rife!

Dusty, that sounds like a great idea.  How do you start the rifle out?    Empty, with bolt opened, with stripper clip started?

Howdy Back 40! We are going to start the rifle a couple of different safe ways.

Open bolt empty

Open bolt charged or stripper in place ready to charge

Closed bolt empty chamber hammer down

This will be according to how the stages are written.

With bamm we start sometimes with the rifle bolt open and clip laying on a table about 6' from the shooter at the beep shooter advances to the table charges the rifle and gets to work. I see a lot of great stages with dough boy starting from various positions. Tomorrow is the day! Dusty Boddams
