Wild Bunch for Buckaroos?

Hello folks, i was just wondering if any club runs a Buckaroo/Buckarette category at local Wild Bunch matchs? If so, what kind of "accomodations" do you allow for the young ones?

The only time I have seen a Buckaroo shoot WB is at last years Ohio State Match.  I think the young man shot a Browning .22.  I would be a great idea to start some young folk into our sport.

I saw one young man shoot standard 1911 etc. for WB I don't recall where. He did just fine.

we have a buckarette that shoot WB with us all the time

 

she uses her dad's guns and ammo, and are doning better than well, she won the 2 last matches ( lady modern )

 

think it's kind a cool and yes we need more kids

Yes, i guess 22 is a possibility for pistol and rifle, but what about the shotgun?

There is not now and there are no plans to have another Sanctioned category using smaller caliber firearms. Local clubs can do whatever they wish.  Although it was before Wild Bunch became a SASS Sanctioned sport Holy Terror was only 12 and she shot a 45 Colt rifle, a 12 gauge shotgun and loved to shoot her granddad's (Evil Roy) 1911 in 45ACP.
