Dantankerous Posted Tuesday at 12:10 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:10 PM Every match and even every monthly match I attend in cowboy I have spare guns and spare parts in my shooting bag. The only spare anything I have ever brought to a WB match was a back up 1911, when I actually had a spare. What spare stuff might y'all keep with you for troubleshooting and repairing your WB firearms? For my needs that would include the model 12 and of course the 1911. Appreciate the suggestions! Quote
Old Man Graybeard Posted Wednesday at 11:46 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:46 PM I just have backups with me for everything. And if it's a match a ways away that I am camping at...I have a lot of parts for the wild bunch rifles and for cowboy guns Quote
Sedalia Dave Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Because I only shoot WB as a side match I don't bring anything extra except ammo. Quote
El Chapo Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If you care that much, you should have a complete spare gun. I don't even bother to take my gunsmithing box with parts, I will either borrow a gun or DNF if my gun breaks. I have loaned my gun to other shooters and I assume someone would do the same for me.
