Coyote Kincaid
Anybody know of a holder for the winner conchos from SASS because these are oval and not round like last years.
Happy Jack
NO, but you might put a request on the Wild West Arts forum on the regular wire. A number of leather workers follow it and might make you one.
Coyote Kincaid
I went ahead and contacted Jim Hastings who originally made my rig and he will be making one for me. I appreciate the help.
Coyote Kincaid
Mystery solved. I had Jim at Hastings Holsters make one for me. He just sent me pics of it.
J. Frank Norfleet
Now that looks nice. I hope that all the state champion conchos from SASS are like that this year. The previous year's conchos were too generic. At WR I noticed that Silver Heart and Lacey D'Oyly had a local silversmith make a ring to mount the concho in that gave the state and year. It looked real nice. JFN
Coyote Kincaid
It is definitely an improvement over last year's concho for sure.

Coyote Kincaid
Thank you. I got to shoot with Shell Stuffer that weekend and picked up a few things that I'm going to try out. I enjoy shooting with other WB shooters because I get to learn different things. WB isn't that big here in Arkansas. There seems to be more interest in IDPA, I will probably be joining as well next month so I can have more time shooting a 1911.
J. Frank Norfleet
Who is this Shell Stuffer? I saw his name on the WR results. He would have won overall if he hadn't of had a SDQ. And even with the SDQ he still placed 3rd overall. Good shooter, I look forward to meeting him. JFN
Coyote Kincaid
He's from Illinois if I remember correctly. Nice guy and super fast. I looked for him here and on the Wire and even Facebook but I guess he doesn't get on the internet.
