1911 mag leather pads

Quick question, on the leather pads on 1911 mags, what glue are you using?  Double stick tape?

If you ever want to remove them - high-quality rubber cement.   If not, I use contact cement for such materials, where one is one rigid and one flexible.

I use Pliobond 25 with Mernickle leather base pads. I’ve probably done over 400 of them with great success.
