Slide Forward question

Hi Everyone,

 

Just looking for some clarification on the Slide Forward command at the end of the stage.

 

Is a shooter allowed to manually lower the slide or should the slide stop be pushed down allowing the slide to slam forward ???

You can manually lower your slide but you must pull the trigger and drop the hammer.

Yep, you can ease the slide down to prevent possible battering caused by dropping slide on empty chamber.  Just don't ease the hammer down - let it fall.  I usually will ease my slide down to protect the action work I have done.
