Deacon KC
Okay, getting started in WB, and setting up my holster rig. How many 1911 magazines do I need to plan to put on the belt? Thanks

Blackfoot
Six works fine, I usually have 6 on the belt and 1 loose for first loading. Blackfoot
Frederick Jackson Turner
Six should get 'er done; with a single shot mag carried somewhere legally, somewhere on your person. Belt size matters, here. Intensive physical training and a slender waist will only punish you. Go ahead and have that second cheeseburger. ;) Cheers, FJT
Doc Holloman
I carry my full mags in open top Mernickle Pouches and my 1-round mag in a snap flag single pouch. That way I don't get them mixed up. I know some folks don't bother with the one round mag, but simply load a full mag and dump it after chambering one round.
