  1. I believe Shell Stuffer got a SDQ at Winter Range or EOT a few years ago with a hammer back on a 1911.
  2. Went in the mail Monday.
  3. WWI original leather leggings, in very good condition, one strap replaced. $40 shipped
  4. This was a brand new Tripp, What I was saying was when that bullet was against the mag release it moved the front of the mag to the left and made the right rear drag the trigger bow preventing it from returning. It had actually started a distinct mark on the trigger bow. When I measured the mag body because I thought it was wider than his other mags KIMPRO's, it was actually narrower than the rest. It would fire 3, trigger stick, pull trigger forward and empty the mag, and it did it everytime. The 4th round was the only round that was always completely flush with the mag catch hole. Ask Shell Stuffer next time you see him, it was his 1911 about 2 days before EOT.
  5. I had a shooter that was having a problem with a Tripp. It would stick the trigger on the 3rd shot everytime. The only thing I could find was the body of the mag was a hair narrower than all other mags and the 4th round was always farther to the right against the mag catch hole. My theory was that it pushed against the mag catch just enough to cock the mag since it was narrower than the others, and stick the trigger bar.
  6. It was originally a belt, all sewn to the belt. Belt took a crap so I cut them off and added the snap feature to fit over new belt but I didn't think they would be considered legal by definition of the rules. I made new mag pouches but if this could be reviewed and ok'd that would be great.
  7. This is a 7 mag holder that snaps over gunbelt, is it legal, or do they have to be split in pairs.
  8. Course of fire for me. You can throw as much other stuff in that you want and it won't make up for a poorly designed match. Entertainment, banquets, and door prizes are bottom of the list for me, could care less if they had any of those, they drive up the entry fees that keep some from attending.
  9. Thanks for shooting with us Johnny, wish you could have made it thru, but 8 stages straight thru and coming off knee surgery is not a good combo.
  10. I would take the rifle completely out and focus on the 1911 and shotgun, then the mags could be loaded to capacity. I am not seeing any growth in Wild Bunch in our area, it is stagnant at best, if something isn't working, time to try something different.
  11. I agree, had a great time. Well run match and very friendly bunch. Hondo Tucker and the whole crew made us feel very welcome.
  12. If a shooter attempts to re-holster the 1911 getting the muzzle in the holster but not letting go of the pistol, haven't they broken the 170? Since we are not allowed to re-holster the shooter is not given the latitude to break the 170 to holster as allowed in CAS.
