  1. Thanks Flash I think that should solve my problem
  2. Hello the Wire, I have a Colt series 80 1911 which I'm disassembling for a good cleaning. I can't remove the extractor. I've depressed the firing pin plunger and can move the extractor out about 1/16" but that's all. I've tapped on the front end of it lightly with a brass rod but no go.Is there some trick I'm missing?
  3. Good ideas guys. Maybe I'll try it. thanks LF
  4. How many companies make six round conversions for the 97?
  5. Thanks Happy Jack, see you in June
  6. Hello, Never been to EOT can someone explain the whole process of getting my ammo checked for power factor? When it's done, how much they use, etc.
  7. Hello the Wire, What are some of the distances shot with the 1911 at EOT? Never been there before.
  8. What are you shooting now for a gun, ammo, and mag? Like others here have said, use a good mag and get a case gage and check every round. I'd steer clear of the new Chip Mc Cormick mags. they've cheapened them up from earlier ones and they don't work reliably in my gold cup.
  9. Just keep shooting, sooner or later that chunk of meat will be gone for good then you won't have to worry about it. ;D
