  3. To One and All, SASS Ohio State Wild Bunch Championship NEWS! As you know, for the last several years, the SASS Ohio State Wild Bunch Championship has been presented by The Greene County Cowboys and hosted by The Greene County Fish and Game Association, Inc. After many years the Greene County Cowboys have decided that it is time to give another club the opportunity to present this prestigious event. We want to extend our heartfelt Thank You to Ruger Ray and The Greene County Cowboys for all their hard work in presenting this event and wish them the best in their future endeavors. The Firelands Peacemakers are pleased to announce that starting in 2024 the SASS Ohio State Wild Bunch Championship will be presented by The Firelands Peacemakers and hosted by the Rochester Rod & Gun Club. The 2024 SASS Ohio State Wild Bunch Championship will be June 29 & 30, 2024. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at this year’s state match. 5. howdy, to add my 2 cents. i had a m12 takedown that had a non matching barrel that had issues with the release button as well as requiring a hard forward push on the slide to make it operate. sounds kind of like the same problem you're having. anyways to make a long story short, my gunsmith looked at it and found the release springs had gotten bent. he felt that this was due to the slide rod being too long. it turns out that slide rod needs to be fitted to the receiver. he replaced the release springs, shortened the slide rod and this gun now runs like lightening.
