I'd be for this. I have an old S&W hand ejector in .455 Webley that I would shoot in that. Could be fun. I don't see it needing to be competitive to a 1911 in the same way that someone shooting 2 handed VS someone shooting cap and ball guns duelist in SASS are not competitive with each other.

Howdy. The California Gunslingers put on a great Wild Bunch state championship match this last weekend. 10 excellent stages by Sutter Lawman that varied from burn-um-up to complex and cornfusing. I shot on posse 2 led by Marlin Schofield who did a great job. Everyone was more than welcoming and friendly. The last time I shot a CA Championship match was in 1998...I hope to shoot another before 19 years pass.
