in the handbook it says the 1911 sights may be painted.... now I'm a rookie but I saw someone using neon green paint on there 1911 sights, is this kind of thing allowed, I know the rules are more specific for the rifle but on pistol its vague.... so are neon colors ok on your 1911?

Ill be shooting my 1st wild bunch match at an annual Friday(1st wild bunch that counts lol). Most of the guys I shoot cowboy with don't really care about it but I love it! I'm like 60% cowboy and 40% wild bunch. I hope to go to the state wild bunch match in Oregon this year as well

what gets me is that as a rookie I find it kind of sad when I have to tell a seasoned shooter they are in the wrong when there are 10 other shooters not even saying anything.... guess I wont be well liked at the annual I'm going to this weekend lol

my mags are legit, I just heard that at annuals it slides..... but I'm glad to hear at the state level and above they check, I'm within the rules and the power factor but we all know people who are not, thanks for the response.

I'm new to wildbunch but I'm wondering at the sass sanctioned matches will they check power factor and magazines for base pads? I ask because I hear its hit and miss on if they check. Thank you.
