Go West Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 I'm curious about the lightweight Ruger and wonder how it functions. I have the stainless 5" model and like it fine. Quote
Garrison Joe Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Lightweight meaning an Aluminum Alloy frame? Maybe that's legal now with 2024 new rules, but I find a steel frame conventional Government type gun to hold better and shoot faster. It's not like we are concealed carrying a 1911 all day long every day for Wild Bunch. good luck, GJ Quote
Go West Posted December 1, 2023 Author Posted December 1, 2023 I've got the all stainless 5" model, but I saw ads for the aluminum frame model for under $600 brand new. I like the stainless gun just fine and wondered whether the lightweight model was as well made and if people have used it successfully and their thoughts on it. I'm late to the WB game and a bit sorry it took so long to try it. I appreciate your answers I found on many posts here, you make a lot of sense. Thank you. Quote
