Sgt Hochbauer
Normally I shoot Frontiersman so all of my ammo would be loaded with BP. My pistol and SG would be loaded with smokeless, but can I use my BP loads for rifle which is a 44-40. Sgt Hochbauer
Grouchy Spike
Shooters handbook page 17 details ammo requirements. I searched for BP, didn't see any references to black powder. Flying W Ramrod
Fella a bit back, and still around, shoots BP in all his WB guns. Never had a problem but uses a can of CLP every match 😄
Sgt Hochbauer
I hate to assume anything but would that mean smokeless only do I need to reach out to someone for more clarification?
Legendary Lawman
There is no restriction in Wild Bunch on the use of black powder. Of course you will have to put up with the comments from your fellow shooters on a windless day, but i presume you are used to that.😀 As Ramrod points out, we have had shooters use black even in their 1911 but that requires constant cleaning even between stages. I don't recomment it for the 1911 but it is not restricted. Come out, have fun, and by all means, use black powder in your rifle for sure. Renegade Roper
Sgt, I think Kid Rich might be the BP "culprit" they're referring to (although I could be wrong). You might want to reach out to him. See you in SC. Roper
