I just purchased a Springfield 1911 Mil spec model.  it has fixed sights a little taller than standard and 2 white dots on the rear sight and one on the front.  Would this gun be acceptable for traditional class.

Thanks

A great gun for Traditional.  Make the sights one color - paint, sharpie, nail polish, etc.

A bevel on the bottom edge of the magazine well will help a lot with quick reloads.

good luck, GJ

GJ do you have a pic of this?  Not sure what you mean or how much.

Thanks

Here's an easily found YT video on how to do the bevel and what a nicely finished one looks like.

This is legal for Traditional or Modern Wild Bunch guns.  A mag well extension added to the frame is not.  Per this rule found in the modifications for Traditional or Modern pistols:

Magazine wells may be beveled, but may not be oversized, extended or flared.
