    Hi - was looking at the rules on loading shotguns - it says the mag must be loaded with the action closed and hammer down - I assume that it just hasn't been updated for the 1887 lever since you can't load it with the action closed? Second question - the cimmaron 1887 holds 5 in the tube - would it be legal to stage it action open carrier down with a sixth round on the carrier- or how have other people solved this problem. Thanks

    If the stage calls for starting with a shotgun are double users allowed to have it loaded and closed, loaded but open or do they have to load from the belt?
