  1. I can’t picture it being a concern. I am using brass that has been reloaded since the early ‘80s, some with the headstamp almost worn off, and have never had a problem. Primers are whatever is on the shelf, including Winchester, CCI, Federal, and Remington. Don’t recall using any other brands. With shotgun, there are some oversize primers out there that cause problems when you change back, but I have not heard of it in the metallic cartridge world.
  2. Wild Bunch Action Shooting Participation and Voting Data: 88 Territorial Governors 85 Votes – 96.5% Response Rate Voting Item Should WBAS allow Shotgun Make-ups? RESULTS NO. Leave it as is. A Shotgun Miss is a Miss. – 61 (71.7%) YES. Allow Shotgun makeups in WBAS. - 24 (28.2%) NO CHANGE
  3. A question was raised at Land Run during the warmup, so the match director specifically addressed it in the main match shooter’s meeting as allowed/legal. There is nothing in the rules about it, and I would have a hard time arguing against it when I look at original issued 1911 holsters.
  4. Our local club shoots a 4 stage Wild Bunch along with the state match, and holds a 6 stage WB match whenever there is a 5th Saturday. Other than that, I only get to shoot WB when attending annual matches that are all at least 4 hours away (2-3 in WA, 1 in MT, 1 in ID, and EOT).
