Howdy all ;D I now own a Rem R1..  ;DI haven't shot it yet so don't know how its shoots.. 8)

Howdy Friends, ;D I hate to be a pain with dumb Questions. :-\.1st I plan on shooting Traditional.. I was planing on ordering a Rem R1 basic. :P. today I ran into a springfield 1911-A1 . Mil-spec..and did not know if would fit my needs. is there a list of 1911's that I can pick from. :-\.and just what is allowed to be done to the 1911. ;)

First I am NEW to wild Bunch.. :-\..I have alot of Questions about this sport .. ???Ive shot two matches and did not do vary well.. :-\I want to shoot traditional..will a Remington R1 with the slide port opened up and coated be OK to use.. ??? The first thing I need is a GOOD 1911 .I have a Taurus stainless with all the bells and whisles.. ::)I'm looking for reconmendations..  :-\Thanks ya all.. Crazy Mingo
