The folks in Belton are looking to grow the match and they do a great job helping new shooters.

A few key notes when planning your trip.

• We will offer Modern and Traditional categories; possibility senior categories based on sign up
• We do have camping at the range and you will have the opportunity to grab a spot when you fill out the application
• Food. We like to eat
• Side matches. Maybe not your traditional stand and deliver speed side matches but we have pistol and rifle knockdown plates, a moving target and a swinger

The Midwest Regional at Paradise Pass in Etna Green, Indiana will be combined as part of the Triple Classic.

The Triple Classic will consist of 9 days of shooting for you to pick from. This is 3 different Championship events 

in 9 days!!! 

First event is the International Black Powder SASS Championship

August 21 is side match day

August 22-23 are the main match days (10 stages)

August 24th (Monday) is a range reset day and ROBS classes and other events T.B.A.

August 25-26th is the Territorial Wild Bunch SASS Championship  (10 stages)

August 27th is CAS side / mini match day 

August 28-30th The SASS Midwest Regional CAS Championship (10 stages)

You can sign up for 1, 2, or all 3 events. If you shoot all three events you will have all three of your scores added up 

for the Triple Classic Rankings. All Triple Classic shooters will receive a few special gifts (TBA) 

Or just come shoot your favorite event.

For the International Black Powder Championship we WILL have smokeless posses so you can come, have fun, shoot a pre match for CAS. But you will not be scored in the Black Powder Championship and won't be eligible for the Triple Classic Ranking.

We will be setting a cap on the number of shooters (TBA) so when we post applications up, get signed up fast!

2025 Michigan State Wild Bunch Championship will be held Sept 27 and Sept 28 at Saginaw Field and Stream Club close to Hemlock/Saginaw, MI.  "Saginaw Showdown" will be an epic Wild Bunch match showcasing our banquet facility on-site, our lake, camping area, new AR 500 targets and new shooting bays.  We look forward to seeing all the new and experienced wild bunch shooters out here.    Remember we practice wild bunch every Wednesday starting the last week of April until first week of November from 5:00pm until dusk.  We also shoot a wild bunch match after every cowboy match.  

Match Director Gerald Dunn alias Dun Gamblin (alias Sergeant Dork in Wild Bunch) is an experienced cowboy match Director who has been shooting Wild Bunch for years.  The Belton club is a great facility with wide separated shooting bays and lots of reactive steel.

I knew 2022 was going to be a good year for shooting.  This is just icing on the cake.  No, it’s another cake.  A big one!

Indiana will be hosting a 2 day Wild Bunch match on June 12 and 13th, 2025

Also the Indiana State SASS CAS championship on the 13th-15th, 2025.

So this will be a 5 great days of shooting.

Camping on site, banquet on site, huge fireworks show, lots of vendors and just a fantastic time !

The Firelands Peacemakers of Rochester, OH will be hosting a mini Wild Bunch match on Sundays being this June 1, 2025. We will be shooting 4 stages with maximum round counts of 40 rifle, 112 pistol and 24 shotgun. There will be no more than 4 mags per stage with most stage being 3 mag.

For the June match, we'll set up 1 bay, shoot it 2 different sets. We'll change up the targets and again shoot 2 different sets.

Registration will be from 11am to 12, safety meeting at 12, with lead down range immediately after.

Firelands Peacemakers are once again presenting the Ohio State Wild Bunch Championship. The match will be held on October 25 - 26, 2025. We will be offering 10 Main stages (6 on Saturday, 4 on Sunday), a banquet Saturday evening and onsite dry camping. We hope to see you there!
